ANSONIA — Lodora Jane Christman, 75, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 20, 2021, at her home.
She was born April 12, 1946, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Robert and Dorothy (Exman) Wion.
Jane was a 1964 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. She worked for Kmart in Greenville for 14 years. Jane loved to be with her family and spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and her husband, Richard, were avid campers. They have been camping at Cottonwood, north of Versailles, for over 23 years. She enjoyed having the family over at the camper and spending quality time with her camping friends. In her free time, Jane like to crochet and collect cardinals and bells.
Jane is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard A. Christman, whom she married Dec. 26, 1964; her children, Lisa and Bob Mayo of Ansonia, Kelly Oliver of Ansonia, Rodney and Jody Christman of Ansonia, and Kevin and Jodi Christman of Powell, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Rick and Lauren Mayo, Jeff Mayo and his friend, Kaleb Kramer, Nick and Kacie Mayo, Mark Mayo, Bryan Oliver and his friend, Julie Case, Austin Oliver, Robert Christman, Megan Christman, Allen Christman, Bethanie Christman, Brianna Christman, Brice Christman, and Braiden Christman; her great-grandchildren, Rory Mayo, Kieran Mayo, Mollie Case, Halie Case and Trenten Case; her siblings, Betty and Butch Smith of Marion, Ohio, and Bird and Mike Heath of Piqua, Ohio; and her step siblings, Deke and Georgia Group of Troy, Ohio, Bob and Kim Group of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Nancy and Rick Geyer of Upland, California.
A celebration of Jane's life will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Pastor Tony Price Officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Guests may visit with Jane's family Friday, October 1, 2021, from 5 until 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
