Pauline Schafer Obituary
GREENVILLE -- Pauline Clarabelle Schafer, 98, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Oakley Place in Greenville.
She was born on January 31, 1925, in Gettysburg, Ohio, to the late J. L. and Flossie (Byers) Bixler.
In addition to her parents, Clarabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Schafer; and her siblings, Lester Bixler, Lucille Graves, Vernon Bixler, and Ione Merering.
Clarabelle is survived by her children, Harold (Judy) Schafer of Ansonia, Ohio, and Georgianna (Marvin) Crawford of Greenville; her grandchildren, Laura (Loren) Bryson, Paulette (Jeff) Myers, Kathy (Dan) Hetzler, and Bradley (Athena) Hatch; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of her family. Entombment will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
