David C. Goodgion

David C. Goodgion, 79, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2013. David was born on April 18, 1933, in Orange, California, to Mabel Scarborough. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeannie Goodgion, son Jeff Hasbrouck (Maureen), daughter, Nancy Waller, daughter, Laurie Rotuna (Sam), nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He served in the U.S Army during the Korean War as a Sergeant/Generator Mechanic from 1952 to 1955. For his military service he received numerous medals including two bronze stars and the Korean Service Medal. David was a life time member of the Elks Lodge, Torrance, where he served as a Committee Chairman involved with the Eagle Scout program. He was employed for 40 years as a route distributer for several local dairy companies. In his leisure time, Dave, loved to fish. Viewing, Sunday April 21, 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Jeanne & Family - Our thoughts and prayers to all of you during this time. Beth & Seth always remember David as the "Guy with the handlebar mustache!" Heaven has another player/partner ready to pass out the chips and shuffle/deal the cards. We are Blessed having David in our lives.
