Dr. Ronald Pranin

Dr. Ronald Pranin passed away on May 27, 2021 in San Pedro, California, where he grew up attending Dana Jr. High School, San Pedro High School (Class of 1962). Ron went on to Long Beach State where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While working on his master's degree in Biology, he was accepted to the UCLA Dental School graduating in 1974 with his D.D.S. degree. Ron moved to Santa Rosa, California to take over the Empire Dental Group where he practiced dentistry for over 25 years. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Lois Pranin and his beloved wife, Sally Jeanne. He is survived by his two daughters, Courtney (Phil) Vallejo and their children, Mary Catherine, Joachim and Elijah and Ashley (Dustin) Gohlich and their three children; his brother, Rodney and sister in-law, Jennifer; his nephews, Robert (Elyse) and Richard Pranin and by his lifetime dear friends Vina Smith, Eddie Costa, Julie Brown and Rick and Tina Hulbert. Graveside services were held on June 4, 2021 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
