A Celebration of Life Service for Cynthia Hatman, 83 of Corinth, will be Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Bishop Nathan Marx will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2025 from noon until service time at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mrs. Hatman passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at her residence.
She was born October 23, 1941 in Detroit, Mich. to Edward T. Raney and Margaret Melody Raney. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved coloring, arts and crafts and playing computer games, her favorite was Bejeweled.
Mrs. Hatman is survived by her sons, Daniel Hatman (Kellie), Joseph Hatman (Wendi) , James Hatman and Kenith Hatman; her daughters, Cyndi Smith (Scott), Margaret Hatman, Dawn Gray and Veronica Bounds (Mark); 22 grandchildren, Shannon Howard (Bobby), Alyssa Dafnis, Joshua Smith, Alan Boyer (Janna), Jacob Boyer (Misty), Maranda Robertson, Megan Gray, Raymond Gray, Jr., Tyler Bounds (Kaleigh), Ashley Walderson (Vernon), Ross Bounds, Nathaniel Hatman (Rachel), Jeramana Hatman, Benjamin Hatman and Zannion Schmiolt, Erin Hatman, Tori Hatman, Alexis Webb, Tommy Hatman, Cara Hatman, Kristopher Hatman and Kenzy Ross; 29 great grandchildren; her brother, James Edward Raney (Kathleen); other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lanny Ross Hatman; her father, Edward Raney and her mother, Peggy Melody Raney.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Hatman, Joseph Hatman, James Hatman, Kenith Hatman, Alan Boyer and Jacob Boyer.
