Beverly A. Petro

KINGSTON-Beverly A. (Castor) Petro, 83, of Lincoln St, Kingston, NY, died Monday, June 26th, 2023, in The Villages, FL. She was born in Kingston, NY on May 5, 1940, the daughter of the late Harold and Winona (Watrous) Castor. She was employed as a histology technician for the Kingston Hospital Laboratory. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Petro of Lake Katrine and Margaret (Peggy) Petro of The Villages, FL, son Michael Petro of Dallas, Texas, sister-in-law Jacqueline Petro of Kingston, NY, nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of over 58 years, Stanley J. Petro, Jr., her dog Vicky, her aunt Margaret (Castor) Brophy, brother-in-laws Richard and John Petro, and sister-in-laws Judie Petro, Marcia Nissen and Mary-Wynne Deyo. The family has entrusted the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, with the care and service arrangements for Beverly. A graveside service followed by burial in the family plot at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery will be held privately. www.GVVFH.com
