Andrew Hollenbeck Obituary

Andrew Marwen Hollenbeck Lafayette, TNAndrew Marwen Hollenbeck, better known as "Holly", age 70, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008, at Macon County General Hospital. The family chose cremation. Andrew Marwen Hollenbeck was born on October 7, 1938, in Fulton County, NY. He was the son of the late A. Wendell and Margaret Elizabeth Lippert Hollenbeck. He married the former Saundra "Gocha" Breitbeck on May 24, 1984, sharing 24 years together; she survives. Andrew "Holly" Hollenbeck was a veteran serving in the Army Reserves; he worked as a chief for several years across different states. He was a manager for Lake Auto Salvage for 20 years. He also worked for Anderson Boat for five years, and Tuck's Building Supply for ten years, before retiring. Holly enjoyed restoring old cars, working on tractors and doing carpenter work. He was of the Methodist belief. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his passing; sons, Andrew (Mary Alice) Hollenbeck of Mechanicville, NY, Mark (Martha) Hollenbeck of Scotia, NY, John Gocha of Ballston Lake, NY, Paul Gocha of Greenfield Center, NY, Michael Gocha of Carolina, RI; daughters, Andrea (John) Ciccone of Amsterdam, NY, Marye Hollenbeck of Stillwater, NY, Deana (Jeff) Maher of Cummings, GA, Joan (Jim) Reiher of Quoge, NY; sister, Margaret Leane (Donald) Bonfey of Mayfield, NY; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
