Richard M. Gross

Richard M. Gross, 82, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Glendale Home. Richard was born in Schenectady on December 30, 1938, the son of the late Walter and Mary Gross, Sr. He honorably served in the US Army and worked over 30 years as a machinist at the General Electric and also for Mohawk Dairy. Richard was an avid admirer of old cars; loved tinkering with small engines and visiting casinos. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was predeceased by his siblings, Edward P. Gross, Robert C. Gross, Kay Olsewski, John H. Gross and Ann Birch. Richard is survived by his beloved wife Loretta ‘Lorie’ Santibianchi Gross, whom he married on August 25, 1995; loving step-son, Michael DiPasquale; siblings, Alice Sosnowski, Sylvia Haines, Walter (Pat ) Gross, Jr., Linda Stuart and Larry (Janice) Gross; several nieces, nephews and many close and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Full Military Honors and Interment will be private in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
