We were finally able to spread Brad`s ashes during the weekend of his birthday this year. We spread some around some hostas that we planted in the forest as Brad loved to be among the trees and with nature. We shared in many great camping trips and hikes together. We also spread the rest in a river in Wisconsin so Brad`s free spirit could carry-on and meander wherever he wants to go and be with all of us who loved him. It was an honor to do this and I´m so glad Leslie Johns awarded me with this pleasure. We miss you Brad, we love you Brad.

Some days just aren't that easy...I don't care how much time has passed ! One of our fondest memories (you,me,& Michael)shared just tears us apart when we hear it: "You'll be in my heart from this day on. Now and forever more. You'll be in my heart, always. Just look over your shoulder.Who would have ever known just how much this would mean years later. I love you and miss you sooo much my heavenly angel, but I will always be looking over my shoulder . Needing one of your hugs right about now.Mom and Dad have been in and out of the hospital so much. Everytime I walk down the halls I think I am going to be visiting you...and your not there!!!! I miss you baby sooo much. Michelle had a baby girl Caitlyn Elizabeth and you weren't there.Michael was the only freshman to make the jr. varsity bowling team at Notre Dame ( I see that all of our bowling together and Sat.league paid off) Ha Ha !!! This week is the 230th. anniv. of the Marines. I know that we used to celebrate ( maybe I should go have a beer with Joe at the GH) I will be sending you balloons. I know that you get them, you always send me a sign, actually Michael and I both have gotten them and it was kinda crazy..we both said at the same time "BRADLEY" and then laughed.Keep watching over us . tears over you and Oma and the irony of it all is unreal.
Warn is leaving for germany soon and will be taking part of you with him to be placed in the schlossberg im hohenecken. So, you will always know that you did really make it there as we planned.

i finally met rufus and know why you both were close. i only wish the three of us could have hung out together, we would have had a blast
your memorial today was unblievable,
leslie and bill did you proud. i wish i could have spoken, but i have never been able, to speak in front, of a crowd. bill brought me to tears about the ride. the two songs leslie choose were perfect.
music has always been a big part of our lives. the drums have always been my faviorte part, of any band, thanks to you. closer to home, by grand funk railroad, has been my favorite song and you were the one who turned me on to gfr, my other song to you is, thank you for being a friend, by andrew gould (the seventies) cat stevens, uriah heep, wishbone ash, head east (flat as a pancake)
the bears won tonight the first game,
of the season, but you already know that. you have the best seats, in the house, say hi to harry carey and lets hope they are in the series (white sox/cub) world series would be perfect.

Brad was a good friend of mine in the '80's, such a friend that I hired him at Remington's on Rush St., and later at Stagger Lee's in Mount Prospect as a Bar Manager. We shared friends: the Bradens - Ed & Cathy, the Pappa twins-Rene & Dean. All great people... He later was a major sponsor of my Bachelor Party, and an Usher in my Wedding. I no longer live in the area, but am deeply saddened by the loss.

To Brad's loved ones,
I will miss Brad. I knew Brad from my sister and brother in law, Mary Ellen and Dean. When I met Brad I was probably 16 or 17 and just got my license. He came over to our house and he let me take his red Fiero out for a spin by myself. I know that seems trivial, but we always talked about that as the years went on.
My girlfriend and I always thought Brad looked like Nick Nolte!
Brad was so nice to my parents, my siblings, all my sister's kids and even my kids. A true angel will be missed and thought of often. We will pray he is with the Angels in heaven and watching over all of you.
May you find strength in your time of sorrow.
We will miss him!!!

Dear Leslie & Bill,
Michael and I send our condolences to you and your family. We are going to miss him so much. Bradley and I helped each other through the many ups and downs of life. He was a very important part of my family. We became a "family" of our own. When Michael's dad was too ill and even after he passed away Bradley stepped in and did the things that father's do with there sons...Boy Scouts, Baseball, Camping. He was the only one who got away with calling him "MIKEE " At one time Michael and Bradley both had broken limbs. They were so proud that they had pictures to prove it. My daughter Michelle he called " Princess". He was there for the births of the grandchildren, and always wanted to babysit. He introduced me to Judy who has become my best friend, and the three of us had some great times together. All of these memories will be with us forever. I have him singing Happy Birthday to me on my voice mail just last week. Bradley and I shared a love and a bond that only him and I could understand. We will truly miss him.
