I just learned of Don's passing yesterday and wish to express my sorrow and good thoughts. I was in Bob and Don's high school class and remember his love of sports, especially baseball.

To Don's family, I hope through the Lord's help that you can find the strength to heal from this tragic loss.

Dearest Bob,
I can remember many wonderful memories observing the two of you cherishing your boating, nature walks, Jimmy Buffet at Wyncourt days, and the long hours hunting those Muskies. Your brother's humour, wisdom, and compassion will be missed by many - of the past and present, Please know that my sorrow was ohso deep upon hearing from my brother, Bob Howell, about losing your soul mate, Don. I lost my father unexpectedly less than a month after. My heart is hurting so very bad still, as I know yours is broken, as well. May God keep the wind at your back as you struggle with such a great loss.
Love,
Cherie "Howell" Maday

My Deepest Sympathy Bob,

I just learned of Don's passing and am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I have so many fond memories of you and Don from Lofty Pines over the years. I know how much Don loved spending time with his brother in one of his favorite places on earth. I don't think I have ever met a kinder soul. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. So
sad to hear of Don's passing. When my daughter or myself needed a jeep-
each and every time he found just the right one for us, not because it
was his job but because it was his love! Sharing stories of the good
old days, talking about what being a good person is all about- you just
couldn't find a nicer man. P.S. Don- meet up with my dad he'll show you
all the good fishing and hunting spots!!!

My prayers are with Bob and his family. Don was a good athlete and fun in High School. Many years later myself, daughter, and a friend bought cars from Don who was always patient with us and wanted to find the best car that fit our needs. Don said he tried to treat his customers as if they were family. He will be missed.

To Don's Mother & Family

We are saddened by Don's passing but know he is in a much better place now & still able to serve those around him. We have known Don & Mark for some time when we started buying cars from them but lost track of them when the business was sold. We had always intended to stop in to visit but unfortunately did not get back up to Barrington. We appreciate all that Don did for us. He always treated us with respect & kindness. He was always very patient while we decided which car to buy, he spent a lot of time with us.
May he rest in peace & may you find comfort in knowing he is in the company of God our Father in Heaven.
We are sorry we will not be able to attend his services but will keep all in ours prayers.

Love & Prayers
