GRAYSLAKE - Mass of Christian Burial for Franz Lutsch, 92, formerly of Libertyville, is Friday at 11 AM at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Rd., Mundelein, IL. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation is 9-11 AM Friday at church prior to mass on Friday. He was born January 18, 1923 in Romania and passed away May 5, 2015 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Beloved husband of Eva nee Prohammer, Franz immigrated to the United States in 1955 in search of opportunity and raise his young family. He settled in Lake County where he prospered and ultimately retired. He is survived by his devoted wife Eva, his son Franz and daughter Rosemary (Steven) Siers, two grandchildren, Justin and Lauren Siers and his brother Michael Lutsch. He was preceded in death by two brothers Jacob and Joseph Lutsch and a sister Anna Jung. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests any gift be directed towards the American or International Red Cross.
