JEAN ELIZABETH KELLY GUST

Jean Elizabeth Kelly Gust died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on January 25, 2016. She was a 55 year resident of Valley View, Glen Ellyn. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gust Sr. She will be missed dearly by her surviving children, Nancy (Fred) Tongol, Charles (Vanessa) Gust Jr., Janet (Doug) Tucker, James (Cyndi) Gust, and Michael (Rosaria) Gust. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A member of St. James the Apostle in Glen Ellyn, Jean volunteered for many different areas of the church. In her later years, she continued to enjoy the Women's Bridge Group of St. James. She was also a volunteer at the Morton Arboretum for many years. Jean had a love for classical music, and instilled that love of music with her children and grandchildren. One of the Gust family's most vibrant memories will be remembering Jean sing "Oh, Danny Boy" and anything from "The Sound of Music." She will be deeply missed by her family, but they find great comfort knowing Jean is whole once again, with Christ and her one true love, Charles.
