Kevin Kenneth Schoen of Wayne Funeral services for Kevin Kenneth Schoen, age 10, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 101 N. Spring St., Elgin, IL 60120. The Rev. Thomas Niermann will officiate. Born Nov. 14, 1991, in Winfield, the son of John and Donna (nee Behles) Schloen, he passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Burial will be private. Kevin was cherished by his mother and father and loved playing with his brother and sister and being with his family. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Elgin. Kevin will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother and sister, Eric and Kellie; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Sandra Schoen; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mabel Behles; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday, at the church.
