MUNDELEIN - Visitation for Kris Miller, 62, is 12-4 PM Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the Kristan Funeral Home, 219 West Maple Ave. (2 blocks west of Rt. 45 on Rt. 176), Mundelein, with the funeral service beginning at 3 PM. She was born August 14, 1958, in Evanston, and passed away peacefully Friday, July 23, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. Kris was a retired Legal Assistant from Diambri & Vicari Law Offices in Libertyville. Prior to retirement she was employed part-time at the Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County, the park district for special needs for individuals as a means of paying back for a great life until full retirement in 2018. Kris lived in Mundelein for 42 years. She was a 1976 graduate of Mundelein High School. She was an active member of Mundelein Pride (now Mundelein MainStreet). Kris enjoyed camping, horseback riding, playing games and cruises. She was the Best Wife and Mother. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth A. Miller; her sons, Keith Steven (Brandi Osoria) Miller, Kurtis Joseph Miller; her brothers, Scott (Gwen) Orzolek, Craig (Sandi) Orzolek; her sisters, Linda Sparks, Tammy (Robert) Goodall, Donna (Roger) Dee, Gerri (Robert) Elzbieciok, Mary (Biff) Meadows, Carolyn (Joe) Chambers; her grandchildren, Baily and Piper Del Valle; and many nieces and nephews. For those of you that will be unable to attend in person, the funeral service will be live streamed. What a beautiful and meaningful service .
The compelling admiration and strength from all who loved and knew Kris was felt near and far .
Memories of sipping coffee by a campfire , or sharing ( only) bottled beer dancing to Dancing Queen will forever be part of my story of the knowing Kris Miller.

Ken - Death comes uninvited; it dares to steal time we wish to make stand still. When the battle is done and our hearts are so weary, it´s the love and the memories that wash over us and offer comfort. I have so many, many memories of a happy Kris.
