Hi Mom,
I can't believe it has been 8 years. Saturday was hard to get through. I thinks about you always and still wish I had come back to talk the night before but you told me we would have all day to talk. We never had that time and I am sorry I didn't just come back after dinner. Everyone always thinks there is more time tomorrow, but sometimes tomorrow never get here. You have taught me to get the most out of the time we have now. Live today as if there is no tomorrow. I love you and will never forget the last minutes we had together. I hope you know how much I love you and miss you. I wish you could see the boys and see how they have grown into men. I wish you could see my grandchildren also. Please watch over all of your loved ones everywhere.

Happy Birthday Mom, I had Nathaniel this weekend, we had a "boys" weekend as Kathy is out of town. I took him to lunch and then we went to see Thomas the Tank Engine Live on stage. After the show I took him down to the riverfront to see the airplane races. He always has a good time with Paca, That is what he calls me. We are not sure where he came up with that but it is very special to me. When Brad and Cathy came to pick him up he cried because he wanted to stay with Paca.
Keep an eye on Justin!
I love you and miss you.

Can't believe it has been seven years already; seems like just yesterday. So much has happened good and bad. Joey is home safely (and healthy) from Iraq but Justin is in Afghanistan. The little boys are getting big and my girls are getting old. I'm not though, I still look the same -- ha ha. We miss you and wish you were here.

We can't believe you have been gone for 4 years already. Seems like just yesterday we were sitting in the townhouse in Indiana talking about nothing. If only we knew there wasn't much time left - our conversations could have been more meaingful. Dad and I talk about you often and I am sure he misses you terribly. So much has happened. We lost Aunt Gina at Thanksgiving - so sad for Sue she said now I have no parents. You have two additional great grandchildren. You also have 3 step great grandchildren from Joey; Rick's a grandpa and Jan is a grandma (twice) so that gives you 3 more step great grandchildren. We are blessed. We are glad you aren't suffering any longer, but sure wish you were here.
Love you ---

Dad says happy birthday too.

Such a sad day for Jennifer and Shawn. Shawn's dad passed away last night of a massive coronary. So unexpected. And his father had just died on Wednesday evening. That poor family. When I think things are bad - someone else gets it worse. Keep watch over all of us. Love you.

For all who might be reading this guest book - mom is back home. Her duties at the University of Indiana are finished. She was with them for 28 months. I know she would be proud of what she was able to do. Rick and Kathy purchased a beautiful box for her to rest in; I am sure she would be pleased.

Happy Birthday - its hard to believe another one is here without you. I don't know where the years are going. Next week (6/20) is Jenn's wedding. If you can pull some strings - how about some really good weather! Dad just got home from Kewaunee. Fritz and Marge were in so he went up to visit and catch up with them. He will be going back next month for his class reunion. That class has to be getting smaller!
Our new baby is coming to visit this month. Nathan is getting so big (and sassy) but he sure loves his baby brother.
Seems Joey is going to have to go to Iraq - keep an eye on him so he stays safe.
We love you and we all miss you.

Dear Mom - on Sunday, May 2, we lost Taffy. We think she had a heart attack. It was fast and for that we are grateful. So, now if there is a heaven, you have my little diva to keep you company.
I visited New York and got to meet my newest little boy and to see Joey safely home. New babies are really a joy - even when they are crying in the middle of the night. Nathan talks about NaNa all the time. He misses you and he said you would like his baby Jake. I am blessed.
Happy Mother's Day with love from all of us.

Dear Mom - its spring finally and the flowers are starting to show through the ugly dirty leftovers from winter. Dad always mentions how much you loved flowers. We will plant some extras for you this year. So look down on us and see what we have done for you.
We are celebrating a new grandbaby - born March 1, 2004. Jacob Mathias. So handsome and Nathan such a wonderful big brother. Joey will be home in April from Afghanistan so that is truely a blessing.
Love - Vicki and the girls, Dan and PaPa.

Mom - yesterday Dad and I celebrated your birthday by having lunch with Jack and Julie in Galena, Missouri. We then had dinner with Renee and Nathan in Springfield, MO and released a birthday balloon that Nathan had drawn pictures on. He said he talked to you today (Thursday 6/13) and you said you hadn't gotten the balloon yet. Nathan came home with us for a couple of weeks. He doesn't know the difference between Old PaPa and PaPa Lynch. We miss you, I hope you are watching over us and know you are loved and missed. Vicki

Mom,
I'm sorry I couldn't compose myself enough to speak at the service.
Mom, I remember when you worked at the "Shay"...I went in everyday for my fix of Cherry Milkshakes. I Watched you run around waiting tables. You always smiled, even if you were having a bad day.
I remember when you drove the school bus...you took me with to the museums, the ballgames or the aquarium. Even when I couldn't go with you, you always brought me a present from the trip.
I remember the many trips to the emergency room...to have some part of my body put back where it belonged.
I remember after my surgury and spent a year and a half in a wheelchair... you always had sooooo many black and blue marks from lifting the chair in and out of the car, but you made sure I never missed an appointment or one day of school, or just about anywhere I wanted to go.
I remember the look on your face the day I left for the Army, or the day I surprised you when I came home a month early from Germany.
And Mom I remember how much you liked having your hair brushed...I brushed it while I held you hand at the time of your passing.
I remember so many things it would take another lifetime to talk about them all.
But Mom...The thing I remember most is how much you love me, and loved us all.
I love you Mom and I miss you so much.

Mom, your service on April 20 was beautiful. You would have been so pleased to see all the people who came to show their love for you and for our family. We miss you as much as the first day we lost you. We will love you always. I know you are at peace and happy to be well again - finally. We are taking good care of PaPa just as you asked.
Love, Vicki

Envelop me in words of love,
Warming as the ocean water late in the day,
Speak softly & gently, with a message as constant as the rugged shore,
On occasion, show me the intensity of the breaking waves,
And the clean slate left after the water washes over the sand.
