Roberta Stankiewicz Obituary
Roberta Stankiewicz, Age 80, of South Barrington, IL, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2025.
Born on February 7, 1945, in Superior, Wisconsin, Roberta was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret and William Brakka and the cherished sister of the late Roseanne “Rosebud†Charlet.
In 1965, Roberta married her first love, the late James W. Reilley. Together, they built a home in Arlington Heights and raised three daughters during their 39 years of marriage, until he passed away in 2005. In 2010, Roberta again found love and married the late Robert J. Stankiewicz.
Roberta was a devoted mother to Kim (Tim) Witt, Jamie Zimmerman, and Stacie (Casey) McIlhon. She was a proud and loving “Nana†to her grandchildren: Collin, Lauren, Nicholas, Nathan, Victoria, Ryan, Kiera, and Luke. Roberta will be missed by her extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who knew her.
Known for her warm heart and welcoming spirit, Roberta had a passion for cooking, entertaining, and gathering loved ones together. She found great joy in spending time at her condo in Marco Island, playing Mahjong and cards with friends, golfing, traveling, and creating cherished family traditions that will live on through those she loved.
A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, from 12:00 P.M. until time of Memorial Mass at 1:30 P.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Roberta's name.

I met Roberta in elementary school,then went on together to high school at St Scholastica´s. We remained friends for over 60 years. She was kind,caring,fun and funny. She loved life, her family,and friends. She will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace dear friend.

Loved Roberta. We met on the first day of high school at SSA. and shared the same birthday. Always ready for fun and she was oh so genuine! This is a sad loss.
