Ruth Marie Timmerman

Ruth Marie Timmerman Memorial visitation for Ruth Marie Timmerman will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Ruth was born Nov. 25, 1932, to Pauline (nee Spencer) and Warren Harden in LeRoy, Minn. Ruth was a resident of Streamwood for nearly 50 years. She was retired from Motorola and enjoyed crafting, garage sailing, sewing and reading. She is survived by her son, John Timmerman of Kingston; daughters, Jan Stokes (George) of Streamwood, Judy Spence (Bill) of Carpentersville and Joy Timmerman of Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bev (Butch) Fritcher of Lime Springs, Iowa; brother, Vern (Ellen) Harden of Blue Springs, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren; mother, Pauline; sister, Wanda; brother, Mont; and her beloved dog, Oreo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anti-Cruelty Society, 157 W.
