Funeral service for Billie Joyce Oglesby, 62, of Talladega, will be Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Hepzibah Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Oglesby left this earthly world for her heavenly home on May 31, 2014 at Trinity Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Dorsett and Mildred D. Gallahair, children, Brad Oglesby, Heidi Oglesby, and Jonathan Oglesby and sister, Linda Rainey. She is survived by her husband, Michael Oglesby, sons, Billy Oglesby (Tina), Kenny Hughes and daughter, Cason Rainey, grandchildren, Cody Oglesby (Carren), Koby Hubbard (Dustin), Alex Oglesby, Eli Oglesby and Briar Oglesby, great-grandchildren, Gracyn and Ava Oglesby, Shelbi and Payln Hubbard, sisters, Cathy Hubbard (Bob), Peggy Freeman (Charlie), several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Hepzibah Baptist Church where she taught kindergarten Sunday School for numerous years. She was co-owner of Freedom Living Mobile Home Repair. She was very hospitable and opened her heart and home and became "Mama Joyce" to numerous foster children for 20 years.
