Bobby Greathouse Obituary
He was born January 21, 1939, in Brown County, IN to Nolan and Geneva (Allman) Greathouse.
Bobby married Wanda Lee (Adam) Greathouse on August 14, 1959, in Greensburg, IN, she survives.
He was a 1957 graduate of Columbus High School.
Bobby retired in 2000 from Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, IN as a machinist after 36 years of service.
He had served in the Indiana National Guard for eight years.
Bobby was a member of Franklin Pilgrim Holiness Church where he had served as a church board member and Sunday school superintendent. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Wanda Lee (Adam) Greathouse of Franklin, IN, his daughter Rhonda Martin (John) of Greenwood, IN, sisters Patty Cazzell (Jerry) of Sebring, FL, Judy Sandlin (Jim) of Columbus, IN, Sheila Henderson of Columbus, IN, Linda Schnell of Sebring, FL, brothers Jerry Greathouse (Carmen) of Greenwood, IN and Gary Greathouse (Naomi) of Franklin, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nolan and Geneva (Allman) Greathouse, a sister Jean Braund, brother in laws Dallas Henderson and Charlie Schnell.
Pastor Tim Forsee will conduct a service on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 10 AM at Franklin Pilgrim Holiness Church 1000 Hospital Road in Franklin, IN. A graveside service will follow on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 12:30 PM at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery 3945 West County Road 1000 North Westport, IN 47283.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 3PM until 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and Friday, May 26, 2023, from 9AM until the 10 AM service time at the church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Franklin Pilgrim Holiness Church 1000 Hospital Road Franklin, IN 46143.
