Elizabeth Pruitt Obituary

Elizabeth “Liz“ A. Pruitt, 63, of Chester Springs, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Sunrise Assisted living Center in Paoli. She was the loving wife of Timothy J. Weir with whom she shared 14 years of marriage. Born in Wynnewood, Liz was the daughter of the late Redus and Mary F. Smith Pruitt. She was a graduate of Villanova University where she received a B.S. Degree in Marketing. Liz had a passion for interior design and recently worked with Light Parker Furniture & Interior Design. She loved traveling, spending time at the shore and staying at her home on Florida. She also enjoyed cooking and watching football. In addition to her husband Tim, Liz is survived by a son, Matthew Lanzetta; and siblings, Edward R. Pruitt (Joanne) Jonathan B. Pruitt, Allison P. McEvoy (John), and Cynthia H. Pruitt (Lori Basher). She was predeceased by her siblings, Garret P. Pruitt and Mary Susan Pruitt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 10 AM from St. Elizabeth Church, 100 St. Elizabeth Dr., Chester Springs, where family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:45 AM. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to CMMD Foundation, 750 W. Lincoln Hwy, Exton, PA 19341.
