Milton D. Stith

1934 - 2015

Milton D. Stith of West Chester Milton D. Stith, an advent servant to God, devoted family man, and active in his community departed his life on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015. Milton D. Stith (Milt) was born on May 23, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pa. to the union of the late Rev. Charles C. and Melvina Stith. A veteran of the Korean War, Milt had an extensive and broad work career. Although Milt was successful in the business area, he believed in the philosophy of service above self. He gave of his time and talent to both the church he loved and the community he served, most notably: an active member of St. Paul's Baptist Church Trustee Ministry, The Trustee Union of Chester and Vicinity, PA State Baptist Convention, Downingtown PA Chamber of Commerce, Westtown-Goshen Rotary Club, West Chester Area YMCA/Senior Center Board and elected offices in several Masonic Orders. Based on a life of giving and service, he received numerous awards and recognitions for his church, masonic, secular and community service. Milt leaves many to mourn and share precious memories: a wife of 58 years; three children; three grand children; three great-grand children, two sisters and a host of family and friends to carry on his legacy. There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 16 at St. Paul's Baptist Church in West Chester.
