I thought about this when I drove home tonight. And it was almost surreal.
He was one of a kind. That smile so full of sweetness, love ,and fire.
I am lucky enough to have had time with him and his brothers.

Tommy is missed so very much. Your love and dedication to honor his memory is so very special. The way you guys have pulled together to be stronger than ever and love one another to the fullest is so encouraging and admirable. Your beautiful family is a testimony to everyone. Dear Heidi,
I am Christy Sweet's sister. She told me that you were a good friend of hers at Chatham HS. I want to let you know that my heart is broken for you. My five year old son passed away in February of this year in an accident. There are absolutely no words that can even begin to express what you are going through. I know the pain you are in and it is unbearable.
I think Christy sent you a card with my contact information. Please know that I am here for you if you would like to talk or write to someone who understands.
I am thinking about you and your family and you will be in my prayers. I am deeply sorry.

Although we have moved away from West Bradford, Juliet has never forgotten her little buddy from kindergarten. He was a special little boy that touched so many lives. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

when i first met you in the West Bradford Cafeteria, your smile when asking for a hot dog everyday was angelic....later i was able to see your beautiful, happy face daily in the hallways and classrooms...i will treasure your smiling face always....and am grateful for each passing conversation we had...

We had the pleasure of meeting Tommy and his family last year during soccer, the Slaters acually sponsored the team. Tommy was always making everyone smile. May your memories comfort you in this difficult time. Comforting and healing thoughts for your family.

My favorite memories of Tommy was in the afternoons in the WB cafeteria at parent pick up. His eyes would light up and have the biggest smile when he saw you Heidi and yours would equally light up. I only was lucky enough to meet Tommy once. Him and his family were part of a photography project I did for my senior thesis about children who have Down syndrome. The day I spent with Tommy, it was obvious what a special young man he he was. I feel grateful to have that memory and those photographs. I would like to send my most sincere condolences to the Slater family, who showed me so much acceptance and love.
