CRAIG BENJAMIN HINTON

Craig B. Hinton, 47, went to be with his mother Anna, September 27th 2018. Craig was a resident of the Peninsula his entire life. He had a 30 yr career in the Automotive Collision Repair industry as an Autobody Technician. He ended his career with the support of Bobby Whelan and his co-workers at Bay Custom Auto in Newport News. He was a hardworking man who was very skilled at what he did. He loved hunting and fishing and just being in the outdoors with his friends and family. He was at his happiest and at peace in the mountains of Piney River, Va. He loved his son Jacob and took great pride in being his dad. Craig is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Hinton. He is survived by father, Phillip Hinton of Yorktown; His son, Jacob Hinton; His brother, Steve Hinton and his wife Teresa, nieces; Miranda, Adelena and Michelle, His favorite aunts Debra Scarce and Sue Renke, his loving and devoted girlfriend Debbie Brown and mother of his son Julie Hinton all of Gloucester. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
