Margie and family please accept our very belated sympathies. We remember Harry most fondly and do wish you the very best. It was over 50 years ago in Indianapolis, Indiana and we were employed by Cargill, Inc., a firm for which I worked for 40 years. I'm not sure they come any better.

Dear Margie, I was indeed saddened to learn of Harry's passing. Unlike my friendship with other 1955 classmates, I really got to know Harry only after we graduated, and that simply means that it was his fine qualities -- not just being tossed in the same class basket -- that impressed me and made him such a rewarding friend. I enjoyed each time I saw him, whether in Hanover or at some mini-reunion, and always it seemed, accompanied by you, which simply doubled the pleasure. Most important, whenever we talked it was more than just polite chit-chat. Harry always had something to say that was both interesting and thoughtful, and I was immediately engaged. Indeed, I will miss him very much. Sincerely, Leon

My family and I extend our most sincere sympathies to the Ambrose family for their loss. Harry was a good man, Godspeed Harry T. Ambrose.

I had known Harry from our earliest days as freshmen classmates together in 1951, and reveled in being with him again at reunions such as the one he and Margie sponsored for us in Williamsburg. His strength of character was exemplary whether it was concern for others or in facing the disease that took him. He was an honored member of his community and our class.

I had the privilege of working with Harry for a few short years in Chicago. He was always willing share share the wisdom he had gained over the years with anyone. Many fond memories...

Dear Margie, Julie, Colín and Beckie. My deepest condolences for the loss of Harry, or Mr. Ambrose how I used to call him. I will never forget the summer I spent with all of you back in the 70's when I met you for the first time. I enjoyed so much talking with Mr. Ambrose about politics, the economy and Mexico - US relations. Mr. Ambrose was an example to follow in all aspects of life. With my warmest regards. Jorge

I will always hold close to my heart the men who lead my day to day growth in the early years of my life. Your father was amongst the select few at the top who stepped in to fill the void in my life as a father figure. Words can't describe the many ways your father lead, inspired, and made so many people both young and adult simply smile and be able to live in the moment enjoying laughter and the commrodery of each other.
His legacy lives on in you Colin! He has always expressed to me how proud he was with your accomplishments. He lives on in all the many lives he touched! Because of this the world is a better place!
From the Moles Family our condolences and love overflows to you and your family Colin.
May his strength and wisdom continue to shine through you and the rest will fall into place.
I love Harry and I love you Colin...

Harry T. Ambrose was a Great Man.
He taught us the concept of "Paying It Forward" before any of us knew what that meant.
I learned much about life lessons from Harry through his dedication to all of us growing up as he assumed the roles of Scout Master, Little League Coach and, for you, Colin and your sisters, as a Father.
He was an incredible positive influence on me growing up and he was one of the Pillars of the Key Male Adult Figures that taught so many of us what it means to be a Man, A Father, and a Husband.
I will miss him dearly.
I am sure they are throwing another big Log on the Great Campfire in the Sky as he takes his place around the circle.
Please accept my deepest sympathies, Margie, Julie, Colin and Becky.
The World was a much better place for having had your father be a part of it.
I will look upward at night and think of your dad.
Much Love to you, your sisters and Margie.

Harry 'Brose was larger than life. And from MacBeth, paraphrasing... on the death of Cawdor..."His grace on leaving life was greater than that of his life itself." No finer compliment can be given, and as a fellow Christian, combat Army Vietnam, and a cardiac surgeon familiar with death, how comforting it is to grow old with a belief, a Faith..that there is, indeed, a God. As did Harry. See you there man. JB

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know it must be difficult to cope. Although I did not know Mr. Ambrose personally, he sounds like an accomplished and God fearing man. Please be assured you can draw close to God and He will draw close to you. James 4:8

Walking with Harry at Trippe Lake to view the many hundreds of pine trees that we planted in the early 1950's was one of the best parts of life. We offer our deepest sympathies to Margie and the Ambrose family.

Harry was a long time colleague at Conti, but more importantly he was a real friend. We worked together in Chicago, New York and Geneva, and at each location together we experienced and leant something new that I shall cherish for the rest of my life.
His Heavenly journey has just begun. I am sure he will find a way to mentor the Angels and teach them "Options".
May you rest in peace my dear friend.
