Margaret Knight Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Margaret Knight, formerly of the 800 block of Gloucester Street, Hampton, died Aug. 15, 2006 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Ernestine and Zack Christian of the 3300 block of Windsor Ridge South, Williamsburg. A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Hattie Goodman Lee and the widow of the late Willard Knight. Mrs. Knight was retired from Mr. Frosty Seafood after seven years of service. She was a member of Union Branch Baptist Church, Corapeake, N.C. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter and son-in-law, Ernestine and Zack Christian of Williamsburg; two sisters, Catherine Ferrer of New York City and Minnie Wiggins of Hampton; two brothers, Willie Edward Lee of Suffolk and Frank Lee of Hampton; five grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 at Union Branch Baptist Church, Corapeake, N.C. by the Rev. Nathaniel Thomas. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 11:30 a.m. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
