Pam was a college classmate of mine, and I knew her through the years on our alumnae listserv and reunion. I rejoiced for her when she married and became a mother, and mourned when she was widowed so young. Too soon gone.

We are so shocked and saddened to learn about Pam's passing. My daughter was friends with Pam's daughter at Gloria Dei. Pam and I used to have long talks at the soccer field. She was kind and funny, always asked after our children, and was devoted to her daughter. Condolences to all of Pam's family and friends.

I am very sorry to hear about Pam's passing. She was a good person who was passionate about historic preservation, and many other causes. Her efforts helped lay the foundations for the protection for Fort Monroe, a National Historic Landmark listed on the Register of Historic Places, and was recently made a National Monument by President Obama. Her family, friends, and colleagues should all be very proud of her many contributions. To all of them I would like to express my warmest sympathies...

The membership of the Warwick County Historical Society are deeply saddened by Pam's unexpected passing - we all knew she was passionate about her work and always had wonderful bits of knowledge on interesting topics. She brightened our day whenever we saw her - most recently just last Wednesday evening when she presented a program for the Lee Hall Depot friends - she did a fine job with that even though she did not look like she felt well.
We will miss Pam and we send our best wishes to her daughter, parents and extended family. A very sweet light of kindness has been extinguished and we are all diminished by her loss. With our deepest condolences, we will remember Pam.

Pams death comes way too early, and she will be missed by many of us colleagues. Her quiet demeanor led to some wonderful research that she generously shared -- amazing skills and talents. Love and prayers for Pams family, especially Miss Kimberly with whom I shared many hours in the office!
