Timothy CHAPMAN Obituary
He was a native of Isle of Wight County, Va., and resided in Newport News, Va. He was a deacon and trustee at St. Johns Church of God in Christ for over 50 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Joyce Wilson Chapman; four children, Timothy Chapman Jr., Ron Chapman Sr. (June), Marilyn C. Bowman, and Robert Chapman (Loraine); three stepchildren, Rhonda W. Poindexter (Ronald), Becky W. McCadden (George), and John Wilson III (Carmella); a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at St. Johns COGIC, 2416 Orcutt Avenue, Newport News. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
