Michael Kirby Obituary
Michael Keith Kirby, 65, of Waynesboro, formerly of Charlottesville and Scottsville, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marian Goolsby Kirby and Ross Ormond Kirby; stepmother, Georgia Scruggs Kirby; and grandson, Dakota Musselman.
Surviving are his two daughters, Diana "Angel" Kirby (Kevin), and Megan Kirby; his son, Michael J. Kirby; two grandsons, Roo Musselman (Kate) and Jake Musselman (Victoria); sisters, Sandra Flowers (Fred), Linda Wolfersheim, and Ann Wood (Jerry); stepbrother, Haden Scruggs (Jennifer); stepsisters, Brenda Omohundro, Kim Houchens (Steve) and Tina Lowe (Steve); special aunt, Patricia Switzer; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mike was born on January 18, 1956, grew up in Charlottesville and attended Lane High School. He was an electrician by trade.
As he wished, his remains have been cremated and will be scattered in a favorite place.

Im was the young man helping him out buying food for him talking to him everyday and the one that called the ambulance to rush him to the hospital. I hope my good deeds for him will last a long time. Im going to miss him
