Conrad Wayne Gahagan

AGE: 81 • Hackettstown

Conrad Wayne Gahagan, age 81, of Hackettstown, NJ died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, N.J. Conrad was born January 11, 1932 in Huntingdon, PA. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gahagan. He was predeceased by his wife, (late) Darlene Fay Gearhart Gahagan on May 22, 2005. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. He was employed by Wackenhut Security and served as a Security Guard at Warner Lambert, Morris Plains, NJ. Conrad was of the Baptist faith; he spent his childhood in Oklahoma, Texas and Pennsylvania before residing in Dover, NJ. He spent his last year in Hackettstown, NJ.

He is survived by six sons, Curtis Dale Gahagan, Stephen L. Carter, Michael P. Carter, Harold Wayne Gahagan, Conrad Wayne Gahagan, Jr. and Shannon Fern Gahagan; five daughters, Rosemarie D. Stone, Maryellen Bisbing, Colleen Madonna, Cathleen A. McBeth and Shirley Fay Chandler; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 2 - 4 and 7 -9 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.
