Daniel J. Marks

DANIEL J. MARKS AGE: 59 WHARTON Daniel J. Marks died on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital/Dover after a long illness. He was 59 years of age. He was born in Dover and lived most of his life in the Wharton area. Mr. Marks was a maintenance mechanic for the St. Clare Hospitals. He was a member of the American Legion Post 390 of Denville and a past member of the Mt. Hope Fire Department in the capacity of an EMT. Daniel enjoyed camping along the Delaware river with friends and family. Predeceased by his father, Frank Marks in 1987 and his mother in 2009. Survived by his wife, Stephanie and his dog, Poky; six siblings, Coleen and her husband Marvin, Lynn Brown, Kathy and her husband Ken, Jack and his wife Rita, Rob and friend Kim, Jamie and friend Mary. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 3-5 & 7-8:30PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. Services will be held following the visitation. Interment will be private.
