James Daley Obituary
AGE: 55 • Rockaway Twp.
James D. Daley passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice/Dover General with his family at his side. He was 55 years of age.
James was born to the late Francis A. Daley, Sr. and Mary (nee Young) in Dover and was a lifelong resident of Rockaway Twp., living in the Richard Mine and Mt. Hope sections. Mr. Daley was a machine operator for Tilcon of Rockaway Twp. for 26 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of St. Bernard's Parish of Mt. Hope and the Teamster Local #854 of New York.
Predeceased by his brothers: Francis A., Jr., Thomas and Jack. Survived by his wife of 21 years, Jill (nee Elliott). Three sisters: Trudy Bodine and husband J.B. of Grandbury, TX, Mary Ellen Kancak of Vestal, NY and Betsy Daley of Jefferson Twp. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held 3-7pm on Monday, March 16 at the Bermingham Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St., Wharton. A funeral service will be held during the visitation at 6pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory to Wounded Warrior Project, PO BOX 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 would be appreciated. Offer condolences at www.BerminghamFH.com

My deepest sympathies go out to Jill and the entire family. Great memories of Jimmy: hanging out at pig roasts, parties, concerts. Great friend, he will be missed. After the service I was given a sticker with dancing bears and Jimmy's motto Keep the faith, Love the family. Will be on the tailgate soon, weather permitting. R.I.P. Jimmy!
