Dr. Allen was one of the most impactful professors for me at Perkins, framing well my understanding of Christian ethics which he lived gently and fully. Thank you, Dr. Allen.

From a long time family friend at Greenland Hills UMC and FUMC Richardson. I also saw Joe at Highland Springs when I visited there. I moved to Allen, Tx in 2019 and always sent Christmas cards to Joe and his son, Bob, and family. Our families did visit Nova Scotia in 1993, separately, and had a great time when we found each other. Joe will be missed. Blessing to the family. Howard
