Ned Gray was like an older brother to me, as our two families bonded together through church, deep friendship, and our parents were each other´s family guardians. We later stayed in touch when in Dallas. Ned was a fun-loving, thoughtful, caring soul, always putting the needs of whoever he was with above his own. He will be deeply missed.

My sincere condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort be with you during your time of sorrow. Psalm 145:19 says "He satisfies the desire of those who fear him. He hears their cry for help and he rescues them"

Ned Gray came into my life Fall 2001. I was a career teacher but new to Samuel High School. The year was marked by the 9/11 attack and colored everything during that term. Ned welcomed me with optimism that helped us all. We all gained from his desire to "gather" his friends. All through the pandemic he always checked on me. Even after things relaxed and I became a full time caregiver, Ned continued to check on his friends. What a prince!
