Family-Placed Obituary

HICKS, Bradley William Age 45, of Brookville, passed away Friday, December 14, 2007 at University Hospital in Indianapolis following complications of surgery. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doug & Irene Hicks & by his maternal grandparents Herschel & Agnes Hawkins. He was a 1980 graduate of Brookville High School & he was a partner with Needmore Abrasives. He was an avid boater, camper & hunter, and he loved the outdoors & his hunting dog, Milo. He is survived by his loving wife, Ginnie; mother, Connie Boose & husband Daryle; father, Bill Hicks & wife Cindy; sister, Monica Kinsey & husband Hook; brother Jim Hicks & wife Angie, all of Brookville; step-daughters & their spouses, Amanda (Lee) Eller & Diana (Micah) Walling; step-grandson, Jeremiah Walling; step-sister, Carrie; step-brothers, Todd, Todd, Brent & Darrin; uncles, Roger & Ralph Hicks; nieces, Brielle, Jessica & Erica; nephew, Boston; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Willie & Thelma West; special friends, Doug Gerdes & Ryan Fitzgerald and many other relatives and special friends. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thurs. Dec. 20 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Entombment in the Royal Oak Mausoleum, Brookville. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be provided. Ginnie, Connie, Monica and Jim and families: I dont know what to say except John and I love Brad dearly and would do anything to spend one more day with him. I am so glad that we all spent time together and had so much fun together. Hopefully Brad is on a boat somewhere, enjoying a grouper sandwich from "Turtles". Ginnie & family, I have not see Brad for awhile. I worked with him at Standard. He was like a big brother. When I left there he was one of the person's I was going to miss the most. I feel blessed to have known him. May you find the strength as a family to get through this time of sorrow.
