Family-Placed Obituary


age 72, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday November 16, 2007 at the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospice. He was a retired MSGT with the US Air Force after 22 years of service & retired from Delco Moraine after 17 years, attended Church of the Carpenter, an Air Force Veteran, member of American Legion Post #776, involved in youth coaching for baseball, bowling & football, he loved to write and was a great lover of Jazz music. Ellis is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis II & Geneva Williams; brother, Ernest Williams. He is survived by his wife, Eva; daughters & sons-in-law, Amy Williams & Robert Anthony Boyd of Dayton, Kim Williams-Osborne & Craig Osborne of WA; Hope Williams of Huber Heights; sons & daughters-in-law, Johnny & Lisa N. Williams of Springfield, Morty & Bonita Williams of Virginia Beach, VA, Jerry & Amanda Williams of Englewood; sisters, Velma Lee Goffigan, Fannie Dixon, Barbara Jean Blount, & Judy Doyle all of VA.; brothers, Jerry Lee Williams of VA & Michael B. Williams of Washington, DC; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday, November 23, 2007 at Church of the Carpenter, 5711 Shull Road. lnurnment at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Affairs Hospice in Ellis's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel.
