Ethel WHITLEY Obituary
News Death Notice
WHITLEY, Ethel Earle Age 83, beloved wife of James Whitley of 64 years, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on June 15, 2015. She was born in Salyersville, KY on June 23, 1931 to the late, Earl and Lellie Trimble. She is also is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Iretta Spradlin, Betty Hale, and Pauline Hampton and son-in-law, Mike Dominique. She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Donna Whitley, son, Paul (Crystal) Whitley, daughter, Rhonda Dominique; grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah, and Daniel Dominique; brother, Danny (Patsy) Trimble; and numerous other dear family members and friends. Ethel was a long time member and church clerk for over 30 years of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from the Mayo Business School in Paintsville, KY. After college she worked for the Dayton YWCA, Wright-Patterson AFB, and then General Motors. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, 121 Ingleside Drive Riverside, OH. A funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a scholarship fund for her grandchildren in care of James Whitley at any Fifth Third Bank. So sorry about your loss. I will always remember her at Maria-Joseph, there every day with Mr. Whitley to visit Donna. Very quiet and always had a smile.

Dear James and Kids, Heaven has gained another Angel and we have lost one of our best friends. As I type this thru tears, I can see her face wearing a big smile and wanting to know how I was doing. When you were in her home, she had a knack of making you feel so welcome. My life has been made richer by knowing her all these years. Love to all, Roy and Jeanne Lowe
