News Death Notice
PHILLABAUM, Gail Leroy Age 81 of West Carrollton passed away at his home Saturday March 26, 2016. Gail was born in Miamisburg, OH on July 27, 1934 to the late Perry and Mary "Fritz" Phillabaum. Gail was an Army veteran of the Korean War, was retired from Ohio Bell with 32 years of service. Gail loved to work on his vintage cars and love for his Dachshunds! He was preceded in death by his parents and brother George Phillabaum. Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Sherry "Adcock" Phillabaum, his children Charles Edward Phillabaum (Kathy) of Germantown, Cindy "Moberly" Spencer (Terry) of West Carrollton, Teresa Eitel (Jeffrey) of Brookville, sister Rose Schroeder, brother Paul Phillabaum (Vicki), 6 grandchildren Stephanie, Lindsey, David, Jason, Jacob, and Caleb and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Gail's life will be Sunday April 10, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Trinity Church, 203 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg, OH 45342 with Pastor Joe Getts officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday at the church from 2:00-3:30 p.m.. PLEASE no flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Gail's memory. Arrangements Sanner Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
