Guttridge, James G.



James G. Guttridge, 79, of Ardsley died February 21, 2011. He was born in New York, the son of Charles and Anna Guttridge. James served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954. On September 6, 1958 he married Mary Cassell in St. Ann's Church in the Bronx. James worked in the textile industry. He was in sales and design for Burlington Mills in New York.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons James K. (Mary Anne), John C. (Melanie) and one daughter Jeannine (Steve). Also surviving are 8 grandchildren.

Mass of the Resurrection Friday10:00 A.M. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Ardsley. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. Memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.

Mr. Guttridge was an incredible person. He used to come by my office to visit; he always brightened my day. He will be missed by everyone here at 303.
