Family-Placed Obituary

HELMER, Julia (Judy) E. age 82, born in Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Hospice of Dayton on Monday, February 19, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles B. She is survived by her sister Maggie Diehl, FL, 3 daughters Julie Deel, Centerville, OH, Mary (Dave) Miller, Columbus, OH, Peggy (Bill) Anderson, Dayton,OH, 3 grandchildren Julie Wood and Andy Deel of Dayton, Brittany Sharp of Davenport, FL. A Memorial service will be held at St. Marys Church on Xenia Ave., on March 24 at 12 noon. She was a beloved and devoted mother. She gave of herself to her community doing volunteer work at St. Elizabeth and Miami Valley Hospitals, serving on the Voting Polls and over 40 years volunteering at Corner Cupboard Charities Dayton,OH. In lieu of flowers send donations to Hospice of Dayton or Corner Cupboard Charities. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Miami Valley Hospital and Hospice of Dayton.
