I was saddened to hear about Nadine's passing. I knew her when we both went to Eastern Kentucky University. She would on occasions get a ride with me to go back to Dayton on holiday breaks and weekends. We also were in classes together at Eastern. Nadine would go out of her way to help a friend. She will be greatly missed. God Bless

An old childhood/college friend of mine called me today to say he had seen in the Dayton paper where Nadine had died recently. Needless to say, I am totally shocked & grieved to hear that we have lost one of the most precious friends I have ever had the privelege to know. Nadine & I are both from the Dayton, OH area, but did not meet until our Kappa Delta days @ EKU. I graduated in 1973 and went on to teach Home Ec.@ Bellbrook High School, where Nadine came to teach Business the following year--our classrooms were right next door to each other. We laughed & cried through her 1st year of teaching together! After Michael & I married in 1975, Nadine would come to spend the weekend with us in Richmond occasionally. Then when we moved to Macon, GA we visited her in Atlanta while she was training for Delta Airlines; we were all glad to be together with friends from home! The last time I was able to catch up with Nadine, I believe she was married and lived in Schaumburg, IL.

If I had known sooner, I would have been at her memorial service in Dayton. Instead, my love & prayers go to all of you who knew & loved Nadine, especially her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Brewer, her sister, Loraine, and her husband, Paul. Nadine was a beautiful lady, both inside & out, & will leave us with beautiful memories of her gentle touch on each of us! God has blessed each of us for sharing in a part of Nadine's life, and we can look forward to being with her again one day. AOT, Nadine!

With deepest condolences, Vicki
