Family-Placed Obituary

ROTH, Phillip Daniel 82, of Vero Beach, FL, and Dayton, Ohio, died on Wednesday April 18, 2007, at 12:03 a.m., at the Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA. Mr. Roth was born, November 29, 1924, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Ferdinand and Anna Roth. He was employed as a building superintendent of the Dayton Metropolitan Housing Authority, served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, and was a member of the K of C, #3754. He is survived by three daughters, Barbara & Steve Doss, Juanita & Jim Weisbrod, Cheryl & Tim Evans, sisters; Mary West, Dorothy & Jack Wampler; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, & friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Irene (Grefer) Roth; and a daughter, Patricia Roth. Friends will be received on Sunday April 22, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Vandalia Senior Center, 21 Tionda Dr. South, Vandalia, OH 45377. Ashes will be buried at the Calvary Cemetery in Dayton Ohio. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent in care of Barbara Doss, 18 Pryor Ct., Brookville, OH 45309.

The passing of any of my family makes me think of my youth and the fun we had at the family gatherings. I get out the family albums and start remembering little things long forgotten. Time passes to quickly. Love and condolences to Barb, Nita, Sherry and the rest of the family.
