Met Russell many years ago when Larry Brown had a trim shop behind Russell's Teansmission, also had a joke to tell, always a smile on his face!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of our uncle Russ. He was a large part of my life as I was growing up. Time spent at our house, dad playing guitar, mom playing piano, Aunt Lola and mom talking about crochet thread, and cousins playing. I loved going to the transmission shop, and learning about car parts. Memories at the drag races, watching Russ race, and in later years, all the brothers going to the drag races together, and us visiting with cousins. Tennessee homecomings, hard working family, memories that will always make me smile. My life is richer from uncle "Russ" and I thank God for my childhood. I will be praying for the Russell family, and for God to bring you comfort during this difficult time.
