Richard Allen FREY

FREY, Richard Allen Age 78 of Englewood, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018. He was a former camera salesman with Malone Camera and Salem Camera stores in Dayton. Richard later retired from Wright- Patterson Air Force Base as a photographer in the Multi Media Center. He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church and also active with First Grace Brethren Church in Vandalia. Richard enjoyed hiking, camping, cooking and photographing nature and loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Charlene (Martin) Frey, son and daughter-in-law: Jonathan (Anna Kell) Frey of PA, grandchildren: Rayburn Ulysses Frey, Solomon Edward Frey, brother: Jerry Lee (Susan) Frey of Columbus, sister-in-law: Marlene Barkett of Beavercreek, nieces: Amy (Joel) Huelsman, Allison (Chad) Jarvis, Melissa (Todd) Barnett, nephews: David (Katie) Frey, Ryan (Iliana) Bradley, great nieces and great nephews: Gloria Huelsman, Justin Ruh, Lexi Ruh, Carleigh Ruh, Sophia Barnett, Gavin Barnett, John Bradley, Christopher Bradley, special friend: Kenneth Croft of Dayton, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Marjorie Jane (Long) Frey and sister-in-law: Jo Anne Bradley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Precious Blood Catholic Church (4961 Salem Ave.) with Fr. James Seibert, C.PP.S. as celebrant. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.
