"Buzz" Morrow, Sr.
Anthony A. Morrow, Sr. Buzz, 82, died on Friday, June 19, 2009 at Christiana Hospital.
Mr. Morrow was born in Wilmington, the son of the late George and Pauline (Gallucio) Morrow. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII with the occupational forces in Japan. Buzz retired in 1992 after 30 years as a millwright with the DuPont Company. His memberships include St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and Athletic Association, the Defiance Athletic Association, the Claymore Senior Center and the VFW Polish-American Post. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, George Morrow, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maryellen (Joyce) Morrow; his son, Anthony A. Buzz Morrow, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia of Bear; his grandchildren, Bryan and Morgan and his brother, James Eugeno of Wilmington.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads on Wednesday evening June 24 from 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church on Thursday morning June 25 at 11 am. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
