Age 73, of New Castle, DE, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Bayhealth Medical Center at Kent General in Dover, after a long illness.
Mr. Dacey retired from Hercules in 1993. He enjoyed long drives, the ocean and fishing.
He is survived by one brother, Jack Dacey of Aberdeen, MD; 1 sister, Patricia Desposito and her husband, Francis of Toledo, OH; 3 daughters, Patty Johnson and her husband, J.D. of Alabaster, AL, Linda Kennedy and her husband, Brian of New Castle, DE, Janice Kamalski and her husband, Mark of Middletown, DE; and 8 grandchildren, Mark, Ashley, Amanda Victor, Kelly, Michael, Matthew and Luke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am, Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, 5th and Harmony Sts., New Castle, DE. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning, June 3 from 9:30 - 10:30am at the Gebhart Funeral Home, 531 Delaware St., New Castle, DE. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Catholic Charities, 2601 West 4th Street, Wilmington, DE 19805.
