JOANNE HOBBS Obituary

JoAnne Hobbs

Age 33 of Wilmington, DE was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 11, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer.

JoAnne's passion was her family, church and her many friends, all who will miss her gentle spirit. JoAnne was an avid Disney enthusiast and a faithful member of Eastlake Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as a trustee.

Survivors include her son, Jay Hobbs; her best friend and true love, John Bailey; her mother, Nancy Hooks of Wilmington; her grandmother, Wanda Mazlewski; and her uncle, Joseph J. Mazlewski, Jr., both of Wilmington; her sister, Christine Campau of Wilmington; and a stepbrother, Aaron Hooks of Germany. Survivors also include her stepmother, Rosemary Campau of FL; and the entire Bailey family of Wilmington. JoAnne was predeceased by her father, Joseph M. Campau, in July 2005.

A service will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at Eastlake Methodist Episcopal Church, 30th and Tatnall Street, Wilmington, DE 19802. Relatives and friends are invited to call on the family Tuesday evening, November 15, 2005, from 7-9 pm at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville, and from 10 am until service time at the church. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
