Robert Souffie Obituary
Robert D. Souffie, age 86, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Millersville, MD, died on Friday, December 28, 2012.
He was a graduate of Boston College and received his PhD in Chemistry from The University of Notre Dame. Bob worked for the DuPont Company for nearly 50 years. He was a member of the DuPont Country Club, where he was an excellent golfer.
Robert is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Patty Souffie of Wilmington, daughter, Diane Souffie of Millersville, MD, grandchildren; Sean and Susan Souffie of Philadelphia, Tara Souffie of Wilmington, Kelly and Andy Knapp of Haddonfield, NJ, R. David Souffie of Newark, DE, Great-grandchildren; Maddie and Jack Sutton, of Wilmington, Henry Souffie, of Philadelphia, PA and Josephine Knapp of Haddonfield, NJ.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 7 Sharpley Road, Wilmington, DE, where family and friends may call beginning at 10:30.
