Age 76, died October 25, 2005 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.
Husband of Florine Johnson. Father of Hattie, Kerry and Larry Johnson, Cynthia Shareef and Terry Hunt. Also survived by 1 daughter-in-law, Leslie Evans-Johnson; 2 sons-in-law, Alan Hunt and Aubrey Shareef, all of DE; 8 grandchild-ren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Willie was a committed and faithful Christian and member of the Church of God of Prophecy for more than 45 years. He was employed by the Port of Wilmington as a longshoreman by Local #1694-1 for 32 years until his retirement in 1998. Willie also served his country in the US Army.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service of remembrance. Viewing 5-7 pm and funeral 7 pm on Tuesday, November 1, at Ezion Fair Baptist Church, 1230 French St., Wilmington. Interment will be 9:30 am Wednesday, November 2, in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Pkwy., New Castle,
