Joseph Clifton Obituary
Joseph W. Clifton, 63, died June 22, 2011 at home. Born in Ridley Park, he was son of the late George T., Jr. and Vivian M. Bolton Clifton. Mr. Clifton was a chef at the Springhaven Country Club. He was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1966 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors: His daughter Dawn Marie Clifton; siblings George T. Clifton and Doreen M. Clifton; also nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service/Burial private.

I just found out about Joe's passing. I worked with him over 3 summers at The Red Mill in Vermont. He was the best man at my wedding, he was one of my best friends. We had some crazy times, in The Coop, at the leanto, on the golf course.... He will be terribly missed! Love ya Joey!

Joe it has been years and years since I have seen you but you, sarge, and I had many good times together. I will always remember when we met in the "coop" your were one of the first friends I had in Vermont and I will never forget you. I will miss joe, he was a great cook and a lot of fun. He played a great santa at our family party. He was always the life of a party.

R.I.P. Joe. Your life was a collection of short stories,with much humor. The shooting of the skunk episode comes to mind. I chuckle as I wright this.No skunks in heaven! I will miss you.
