My Mom is the epitome of beauty, strength and grace, ad admirable woman who was full of life, compassion and love. She was a fearless and courageous teacher, using every moment as an opportunity to guide us down the right path. Mom was one of the most selfless persons I have ever known, an angel with a heart of gold.
My heart is breaking in a million pieces but ya know we can sit here and cry a thousand tears and wallow in our own self-pity and grief or we can smile and celebrate Mom's life, celebrate because she lived. I believe this is what she would have want us to do. Mom would want us to live and enjoy life.
Anyone who knew Mom, knew that she loved to dance. And boy could she dance! One of the very last things she said to me was that she was ready to go find Dad and dance. Oh the memories I have of Mom and Dad dancing so flawlessly with beauty and grace, gliding across the floor. So you see, even in her last days, Mom so selflessly gave me this last gift, a piece of her to cherish forever, this memory and the vision to see her dancing among the stars.
Whenever you look up in the night sky at the stars above, look for the brightest one and remember Mom with a smile in your heart. See her as a beacon of light shining over us doing what she loved to do.
There is a ray of sunshine in my heart knowing God had a bigger plan for Mom. God chose her as His Angel, one of His very own, to watch & dance over us from Heaven and the stars above.
Fly as high as you can Mama and gracefully dance the brightest among all stars to your heart's content. You earned this Dance! I Love You Always!
